Peanut/Verkadalai Chutney



Ingredients:
·         2 cup roasted Peanut
·         1 cup shredded Coconut
·         2 Garlic cloves
·         4 Red chillies
·         ¼ tsp Tamarind extract
·         ½ tsp Mustard seeds
·         ½ tsp Urad dal/black gram
·         few curry leaves
·         1 tsp oil
·         Salt to taste
Preparation:
·    Take the peanut, coconut, garlic, red chillies, tamarind and salt in a blender.
·    Add little water and grind it finely.
·    In a separate skillet, heat the oil and add mustard as it pops now add the urad dal and curry leaves, fry it for a minute.
·    Then transfer it to the grinded mixture and mix it well.
·    Peanut chutney is ready.
·    Serve it with Dosai/Idli/Venpongal/Upma.
