Spicy Tomato Chutney

Ingredients:
  •  1 large onion
  •  3 large ripe tomatoes, diced
  •  2 red chilies
  •  1 tsp black pepper
  •   Few curry leaves
  •   Small bunch of Cilantro
  •   Salt
Preparation:

·    Heat a skillet to medium and add oil.
·    Once the oil is hot, add the mustard seeds,chillies,black pepper and curry leaves and sauté for 2  minutes.
·    Add the onion and sauté for a few minutes till onion is lightly browned.
·    Add tomatoes and cilantro. Sauté nicely and leave over medium flame till the tomatoes are cooked.
·    Add salt to taste.
·    Remove the mixture from the stove and let it cool for 10 minutes.
·    Transfer the mixture to the blender and process until smooth.
·    Serve with Idli/Dosai.
