Pepper Chilli Fish Fry



Ingredients:

6 Tilapia fish/any other fish
1 Onion chopped
4 Garlic Cloves finely chopped
2 green chillies cut length wise
½ tsp Turmeric powder
2 tbs chilli powder (desired amount)
1 tsp. Black pepper powder
1 tsp mustard seeds
 Few curry leaves
 2 tbs oil
 Salt to taste

Preparation:
Wash the fish and cut in to small squares and add little turmeric to it which helps in reducing the raw smell of the fish.
In a wide bottomed pan, heat the oil, add mustard seeds after it splutters add curry leaves, garlic,onion, green chillies and sauté it till the onion turns into light brown.
Now add the turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and sauté it finely.
Add the fish one by one, give a slow stir,reduce the heat and cover the pan for 2 -3 minutes.
Don’t stir too much after adding the fish to avoid breaking the fish.
As the fish is cooked remove the lid add the pepper give a mix and let it stand for 5 minutes till the fish mixture dries well and turn off the flame.
Serve the Pepper Chilli fish fry with rice.
