Inippu Bonda (Sweet Bonda)


Ingredients:
·         2 cup All purpose flour (Maida)
·         1 cup Sugar
·         1 tsp Baking Soda
·         Pinch of Salt
·         Water to knead the dough
·         Oil for deep frying
Preparation:
·    In a bowl take the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and knead into a fine soft dough.
·    Cover the dough with wet cloth and leave it for 2-3 hours.
·    In a separate deep bottomed pan, take oil for deep frying and heat it.
·    Grease your fingers (dough will be sticky) take little dough role into a medium sized ball and slowly drop it in the oil and deep fry it until it turns crisp and dark brown.
·    When it turns brown and crisp remove it from the oil and place it in a paper towel so that the excess oil drains.
·    Sweet Bonda is ready and serve it with hot tea/coffee.
