Suyam

Ingredients:

·         2 cup All-purpose flour / Maida
·         1 tbs Rice flour
·         1 cup Jaggery powder
·         1 Banana (mashed)
·         1 tsp Cardamom powder
·         ½  tsp Baking soda
·         Oil for deep frying

Preparation:
·       In a bowl take the Maida, rice flour, jaggery, banana, baking soda, cardamom and mix them finely.
·      Take a cup or desired amount of warm water and slowly add to the above mixture so the jaggery dissolves and mix it well to form a thick consistency and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
·       In a separate deep bottomed pan, heat the oil for deep frying, take a small ladle of the mixture and slowly drop it in the oil, deep fry it until it turns brown and crispy.
·       Remove from the oil and place it in a paper towel to drain the excess oil.
·       Repeat the above for the remaining mixture.
·       Yummy Banana Suyam is ready to serve and the kids will love it.
