· 1 cup Besan flour/Chickpea flour
· 1 large sized Onion finely chopped
· Bunch of Curry leaves finely chopped
· Bunch of Coriander finely chopped
· 2 Green chillies finely chopped
· 1 tsp Fennel seeds
· ¼ tsp Baking Soda
· Salt to taste
· Oil for deep frying
Preparation:
· In a bowl, take the besan flour, onion, curry leaves, coriander, green chillies, salt, baking soda, fennel, add little water, mix altogether and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
· In a separate deep bottomed pan, take oil and heat it.
· Now take the mixture little by little and drop it in the oil in small bits deep fry until it turns crisp and brown.
· Remove the deep fried pakoda’s from oil and place it in a paper towel to drain the excess oil.
· Serve the Onion pakoda with Tomato ketchup.
