Kollu Thuvaiyal


Ingredients

1 cup Kollu/Horsegram  (Soaked for 1 hour and pressure cooked)
1 Medium sized Onion
4 Red Chillies
4 Garlic cloves
Few Curry Leaves
Small bunch of Coriander leaves/2 tsp of Coriander powder
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tsp Pepper corns
1 tsp Oil
Salt to taste

Preparation 

In a shallow pan, heat oil, add the cumin, pepper, curry leaves,coriander, onion,red chillies , garlic and sauté it finely for few minutes, turn off the stove and let it cool.
Drain the pressure cooked Kollu and grind it in a blender along with above sautéed ingredients and add salt.
Tasty Kollu thuvaiyal is ready to serve with hot rice.
