Pepper Chicken Fry


Ingredients:

·         Boneless skinless chicken – 1 lb
·         Onion (medium size) - 2
·         Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
·         Green chillies – 4
·         Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
·         Chilli powder – 1 tsp
·         Coriander powder – ½ tsp
·         Pepper  powder – 3 tsp
·         Oil – 3 tbs
·         Lemon juice  - 1 tsp
·         Fennel seeds – 1 tsp
·         Curry leaves – little

Preparation:

·    Wash the chicken and cut into small pieces.
·    Cut the onion & green chillies in lengthwise.
·    In a pot, take oil and heat it for few minutes then add fennel seeds & curry leaves and sauté it for few seconds.
·    Add  the onion and sauté it till it turns light brown then add green chillies, ginger garlic paste and sauté it for few minutes.
·    Then add the chicken, black pepper powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and sauté it nicely for few minutes.
·    Add  little water and cook it nicely for 10 – 15 minutes till the chicken gets soft and dry.
·    Remove from the stove and add the lemon juice & mix it well.
·    Check for the salt.
