lbs Crab
1
large Onion finely chopped 2 medium size Tomato diced
2 Green chillies cut in lengthwise
1 cup Coconut milk
2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
¼ tsp. Turmeric powder
2 tsp. Chilli powder (desired amount)
1 tsp. Coriander powder
1 Bay leaf
1 Cinnamon
½ tsp Fennel seeds
Few Curry leaves
Little Coriander finely chopped
Salt to taste
2 tbs Oil
Preparation
Wash
the crab and add little turmeric powder to the crab.
In
a pot, heat oil, add bay leaves, cinnamon, fennel, curry leaves, onion, ginger
garlic paste, tomato, green chillies one by one and sauté it for few minutes.Add the Crab, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and cook it for 10 - 15 minutes until the crab is cooked well.
Add the coconut reduce the flame and cook for few more minutes and turn off the flame.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Crab Coconut Gravy is ready to serve with rice.
