Chicken 65 is a popular dish in
India which was introduced in 1965 by the Buhari Hotel restaurant in Chennai.
1 lbs.
Boneless Skinless Chicken cut into small / large pieces
1 Egg
¼ cup
Yogurt/Curd
1 tsp.
Chilli powder (desired amount)
1 tsp.
Coriander powder
¼ tsp. Turmeric
powder
¼ tsp. Red
food colour
2 tbs
Lemon juice
Salt to
taste
Oil for
deep frying
Preparation:
In a bowl
take the chicken, egg, curd, chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric, food
colour, lemon juice, salt and mix it well.
Marinate
the chicken for 1 hour.
After an
hour, in a deep bottomed pan heat the oil for deep frying, now slowly add the chicken
pieces one by one and deep fry it until the chicken pieces turns brown and
crisp.
Remove
from the oil and place it in the paper towel to drain excess oil.
Yummy
Chicken 65 is ready.
